Harte Lodge of Mark Master Masons received the Assistant Provincial Grand Master and a deputation of Provincial Officers at their regular meeting. The Harte Lodge is held at Raby Road in Hartlepool.
The Lodge were to make it a special night with the Advancement of Brother Alan Winn from Connaught Lodge. The ceremony was conducted to a high standard which should have left a lasting impression on their newest member.
Before the formal proceedings were completed, John Watts the Durham 2029 MBF Festival Chairman made a presentation to the meeting. He explained about the Grand Master’s Keystone Fund and advised everyone about the available honorifics.
With the conclusion of the formalities, it was time to enjoy the festive board. After an enjoyable meal there was opportunity to engage in conversation with old and new friends before the toasts commenced.
The Assistant Provincial Grand Master, Michael Wilkinson congratulated the officers of the Lodge for their teamwork in carrying out the ceremony. He felt sure that Alan would have enjoyed the evening and it would remain memorable to him.
Before the evening was concluded there was harmony in the form of a few songs and some jokes. This was provided by Eric Leighton who is the Junior Warden from Eclectic although he was in Castle Eden Mark Lodge for 17 years before it closed.
