For the sake of clarity, and to avoid any confusion, I have been asked to make the following announcement:
In view of the recent advice and instructions received from UGLE and Mark Masons’ Hall, the Provincial Executive have taken the decision to cancel the RAM Annual Assembly on Friday, 27th March; the Grand Officers Dinner on Saturday, 4th April; the Centenary Dinner on Saturday, 13th June at Hardwick Hall; and the Mark Annual Meeting on Wednesday, 24th June.
This being our Centenary year, it is hoped that the Centenary Dinner, and the Mark Annual Meeting can be re-scheduled for a later date. However, we have no idea when that might be – if at all. It will depend entirely on how quickly the virus disappears, and UGLE and MMH give us the go ahead to resume normal activities.
In the meantime, I would therefore ask all Secretaries and members not to phone me, or email me, about these events. As and when I have more information, I will let you all know.
